This Footage Of Meghan Markle Seeing Her Wedding Dress Is Everything

Plays on loop all day

Meghan Markle’s wedding dress was one of the most talked-about in the world, with people taking bets in the run-up as to which designer she would select and how long her train would be.

Her selection? A classic white bateau gown by Clare Waight Keller, from the house of Givenchy teamed with a hand-embroidered 16.5-foot silk tulle veil with flowers representing the 53 countries of the Commonwealth.

While the dress was the biggest talking point of the day, it quickly slipped out of everyone’s minds for more pressing matters:

Princess lessons, world tours, predicted pregnancies and a lot of royal outings – it’s hardly surprising therefore that even Meghan hasn’t had enough time to think about her dress post-wedding.

This week, however, new footage emerged of the Duchess of Sussex, and it’s all about her wedding gown.

As part of the Queen of the World documentary, airing next week, the Duchess was reunited with her wedding dress on camera for the first time since the wedding, with some of the clips appearing in the trailer.

‘Fifty-three countries, oh my goodness,’ Meghan can be seen saying while playing with the embroidery on her veil, symbolising the 53 countries of the Commonwealth.

The documentary contains more behind-the-scenes footage of the royal wedding, but its focus is Queen Elizabeth and her training of the next generation of royals.

We’ll definitely be tuning in.
