What can we expect from your upcoming new season collection?
Think Parisian salon style. This season I wanted to elevate the idea of a show by making it more intimate and personal.
What trends do you predict will be big this season?
For the Michael Lo Sordo brand this season, outerwear and tailoring are key elements to the collection with luxurious fabrics and finishings. As I trend, I think it is all about the elevated quality and detail of the garments for the upcoming season.
Who would you love to dress?
I don’t have an exact wishlist. As a brand we’ve been lucky enough to dress some amazing women like Margot Robbie, Nicole Warne, Elsa Hosk, Olivia Palermo and Elsa Pataky but for me it is always a thrill to see any woman in my designs.
Can you describe the Michael Lo Sordo woman?
In two words: Always chic.
What’s the best piece of fashion advice you’ve been given?
The best piece of fashion advise I’ve received was “Don’t give up!”
What’s your career highlight?
I couldn’t pick a single moment. Waking up every morning getting to do what I do and work with the people I love is the highlight for me.
