Michael Turnbull might not have found love with Sophie Monk or Tara Pavlovic on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, but outside of reality TV, the 37-year-old has found his other half, revealing today that he's engaged to Natasha Candyce.
Turnbull says that despite planning to wait until Christmas, he bit the bullet on November 16th, after asking permission from Natasha's family.
“I’ve always been traditional and Natasha’s got a lovely Italian family," he told WHO. I wanted to ring up and get permission from the parents first. So I rang up Natasha’s parents [Ange and Roseanne] in the morning and had a good chat with them and asked.
Turnbull proposed with a three-and-a-half carat cushion-cut stone during a sunset cruise down Brisbane river. Of the ring, 27-year-old Natasha told WHO, “He’s outdone himself, it’s amazing! He did more than well.”
The couple is yet to decide on a date for their nuptials but they are planning to wed in 2020 among close family and friends, as well as a few friends from The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise.
Congrats to the happy couple!
