Mila Kunis Opens Up About Her “Horrible, Horrible” Break-Up

We’ve all be there
When it comes to dealing with break-ups Mila Kunis is just like us except for one tiny detail.

Her ex-boyfriends are A-list celebrities. The actor might now be happily married to That ’70s Show co-star Ashton Kutcher, but fans will remember she also dated child star Macaulay Culkin from to 2002 to 2011.

Sitting down with Dax Shepard for a candid interview on his podcast, Armchair Expert, Mila opened up about her “horrible, horrible breakup” and the reason her mum didn’t like Ashton at first.

Kunis, 34, went on to further describe her split from Culkin as, “I f**ked up. I was an a**hole in my 20s and I’ll be the first to admit it. And that’s something that took me a long time to come out and be like, ‘Yeah, you know what, I was a d**k,’ and accept it and I own it,” she confessed.

Two years later she started dated Kutcher, with who she shares two kids, daughter Wyatt, 3, and son Dimitri, 1.

“I told my mum I was seeing him. We were driving up Laurel Canyon, and I was like, ‘Mum, I have to tell you I’m dating somebody. And she was like, ‘Oh tell me! Who are you dating?’ And I was like, ‘You’ve got to brace yourself for this one … I’m dating Ashton Kutcher. And she literally was like, ‘Shut the f**k up’ in Russian,” she recalled.

“He was coming off of a divorce. He was post, post, post, way post-divorce, but I think there was a lot of misconceptions about the divorce,” she said.

“People had a weird perception of who he was based on rumours that he didn’t correct,” she continued.

“We went into this relationship super transparent with one another, so we knew 100 per cent each other’s faults, we knew exactly who we were. … And we were like, ‘I accept you for who you are.’”
