The Australian singer/actor is set to release a new book, titled Prince Neptune: Poetry and Prose in April 2020, so it only seems fitting that the tattoo enthusiasts marked the career milestone with some new ink.
Bassill shared his work on Miley and Cody to his Instagram, captioning the post "'Some mornings it’s like the sun rises only for her,' Prince Neptune."
Turns out, Miley’s sweet gesture wasn’t the only tattoo she got on the day. The singer may already boast over 50 tattoos in total but managed to find room for another (quite literal) piece of artwork inspired by Henri Matisse.
"Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin. Dance me through the panic till I'm gathered safely in," she captioned the post. "Touch me with your naked hand or touch me with your glove. Dance me to the end of love. Matisse X Cohen."
Her latest piece, while significant, is much more minimal than her previous works, and could very likely be a reference to her romance with Cody. Talk about couple goals.
