If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that wholesome news is always welcome—especially after how this year has treated us. And giving us our latest round of joy is Miranda Kerr.
Appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show, Kerr spoke sweetly and positively about her ex, Orlando Bloom, and his partner, Katy Perry. Speaking to Barrymore, Kerr admitted that she’s thrilled her former husband is happy.
“I adore Katy, and I just feel so happy that Orlando has found someone that makes his heart so happy, because at the end of the day, for Flynn to have a happy father and a happy mother is just the most important thing,” she said, referring to her nine-year-old son, Flynn Bloom, whom she shares with the Pirates of the Caribbean star.
Kerr and Bloom were married for three years before choosing to divorce in 2013. Since then, Kerr has married Spiegel and welcomed two sons with him, Hart and Myles. As for Bloom, he and Perry were engaged in 2019 and welcomed their first child together in August 2020.
When Perry and Bloom announced the birth of their daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, earlier this year, Kerr commented on the actor’s Instagram post “💖🙏🏻🌈 I’m so happy for you guys. Can’t wait to meet her 💖🙏🏻🌈,” she wrote.
In fact, the couples seem so close that some believe Kerr hinted at baby Daisy’s name weeks before she entered the world.
