Molly Goddard’s Dreamy Bridal Collection Is Sparking Some Serious Joy For Rebellious Brides

These dresses were made for twirling

If you, like us, dream of resembling a cloud of fluffy white tulle on your big day, then we have some good news.

Fashion’s favourite puffy-sleeved dress designer has officially launched her debut bridal collection, throwing tradition and cookie-cutter moulds to the wind in the process.

And yes, it’s killer.

Hailing from East-London, British-born designer launched her eponymous line back in 2014 and has been taking the fashion world by storm ever since.

Filled with bountiful layers of flouncy tulle, smocking and rebellious ruffles, her signature voluminous dresses have been a hit, particularly as the cottagecore trend rages on.

In a season full of slip dresses and sleek silhouettes, Goddard injects some flounce and drama into bridal dressing, for any bride that wants to avoid the standard lace fits.

Goddard, whose icon status was cemented when her pink tulle dress was spotted on one Villanelle in Killing Eve, told British Vogue at her spring/summer 2021 show that wedding dresses were a “no brainer” for her brand, adding that she believes “there has to be an energy to it that’s not stern or serious.”

Ranging from approximately $3,300 to $18,000 AUD, the 12-piece collection is available as made-to-order but brides looking to branch out a little can also choose from an assortment of non-traditional colours.

And if that’s not unique enough then Goddard offers up bespoke gowns to be workshopped with the designer.
