Acting as a protective mother, the unidentified woman responded to the criticism by posting an aggressive message in the Facebook event and cancelling her baby shower.
As reported by the New York Post, the fuming mother defended her unique name of choice, “My baby’s name WILL be a revolution. It will push people to question everything."
Her post was shared on Reddit, where she wrote, “My friends and family have treated me like total shit. I never knew my family could be so judgmental.”
She explained the importance of her chosen name, saying it honours the power, wealth and success associated with her family’s long history of squires and senators.
The mum told her "fake A** family" that she was planning a smaller baby shower where she won’t be ridiculed.
She added that the name will encourage a "wholesome" life for her child, and unlike "over-used" names, her son’s will be "special".
Special indeed. We wish all the best for soon-to-be-born Squire Sebastian Senator.
