Both on and off the screen, Natalie Portman has a history of exquisite fashion and beauty moments, from dark tulle in Black Swan to red carpet glamour to romantic femininity as the face of Miss Dior fragrance.
On location of our photo shoot in Los Angeles with this month’s cover star, those three tenants of style came together as Portman took the spotlight in ethereal ivory lace, balletic basics and sublime nude separates.
The beauty look was soft and glowy, in line with the actress’ low-key yet considered regimen. “Make-up can definitely give you more self-confidence if you need it, as it lets you reveal who you are, but also protects you, by giving you ask mask,” says Portman. “Dior is perfect that way: it symbolises strength of character as much as bold style of femininity.”
