But there is more to the luxe leisurewear than meets the eye. The label’s thoughtful fashion model releases smaller ranges monthly, inspired by female strength as individuals and as a greater collective.
“When I was designing this collection of silk camisoles, I was thinking of all the women and female youth at home across the country who may be feeling isolated, alone or unheard. They are my inspiration and in my small way I wanted to provide a place for women to connect with a larger community and show we don’t have to go through this alone,” says Founder Natalija Bouropoulos.
The range features the five most requested tones by customers, each named after a historical female figure: Faith Bandler, Maya Angelou, Ada Lovelace, Malala Yousafzai and Amelia Earhart.
If that wasn’t enough inspiration, the campaign shot by Ana Suntay-Tañedo stars nine local heroes and creatives including Kim Ellmer, Anyier Teresa Yuol, Lauren Hung and our forever girl crush Sadaf Razi, who is the founder of Be You Beauty Inspo.
Alongside these staple silks, NATALIJA offers a safe space for women to connect via their Instagram page @werehereforwomen. The page features empowering messages to inspire and instil confidence, and psychologist Alison Riddell makes weekly appearances in a Q&A on womanhood, motherhood, mental health, and all things female.
Partnering with Beyond Blue in support of mental health, Look Good Feel Better to boost body positivity among cancer patients, and Dress for Success to empower female confidence, NATALIJA will donate $1 from every sale from the collection.
