After years of anticipation, Andy Lee has confirmed he will marry partner Bec Harding in 2026.
The Australian comedian shared the update during a new episode of the Hamish & Andy podcast, where he co-hosts alongside long-time collaborator Hamish Blake.
During the episode, Blake jokingly referred to the upcoming nuptials as “the royal wedding” before asking Lee whether he could officially confirm the news to listeners.
“Yes, Bec and I have got our act together,” Lee replied, laughing. “Mark my words, we will be married by the end of the year.”
The announcement comes after invitations were quietly sent out over the summer break, signalling that the couple’s long-planned celebration is finally underway.
According to Lee, the wedding will be a relatively small affair, with just 80 guests invited.
Blake will serve as one of three groomsmen alongside Lee’s brother Cam and Michael “Horgs” Horgan, a regular contributor to the podcast.
The revelation prompted a typically playful exchange with the show’s producer, Jack Post, who joked that his ranking on the guest list might have some bearing on his performance behind the desk.
“If there’s 80 people going and I wasn’t a part of that, I’d be surprised,” Post laughed during the episode. “Top 50, I would expect… Top 40 I wouldn’t throw the toys out of the cot, but Top 50 you’d notice a slump in my behaviour on the show.”
Lee confirmed Post had received a “save the date,” clarifying that it effectively served as the official invitation.
Lee and Harding first announced their engagement in May 2024, as well as on the Hamish & Andy podcast, where Harding has occasionally appeared over the years.
The couple have been together for more than a decade, having first met in a Melbourne café in 2014, where Harding was working as a waitress.
Lee later recalled staying for an extended “degustation breakfast,” ordering almost everything on the menu so he could linger and watch her chat animatedly with customers before eventually leaving his email address on a napkin.
Lee and Blake first began working together in 2003 and have since become one of Australia’s most successful comedy duos. Their podcast consistently ranks among the country’s most popular shows and held the number-one position on the Triton Podcast Ranker for six months in 2025.
