Sound the alarm: Taylor Swift is up to something, again. The Mastermind musician has sent fans into a frenzy this morning when a countdown appeared to take over her website. The last time such an event occurred, the countdown led to the unveiling of her latest album, The Life Of A Showgirl.
Only adding to the mystery is the fact the countdown disappeared just 10 minutes after it first appeared.
Set on a sky blue backdrop with what many have deduced are clouds eerily identical to those in hit animation Toy Story, the timer was set to go off at 1 p.m. CT / 2 p.m. ET on May 2.
Many Swifties suspect the singer could be releasing a single set to appear on the soundtrack of the upcoming Toy Story 5 film, which is slated for release in June this year.

“Taylor doing a single for toy story 5 I know thats right,” one fan commented.
Another added: “”Toy story x taylor swift is truly going to be the death of me tbh.”
As one eagle-eyed fan noted, Taylor may have already been Easter-egging us that this Toy Story crossover was coming. Are we at all surprised? No.
In her most recent sighting on April 27th, the ‘Fate Of Ophelia’ singer stepped out in New York’s West Village wearing a carefully coordinated ensemble.
Pairing a striped blue dress, canary yellow Dior bag and red heeled sandals to match her brightly painted lip, the trio of primary colours matched that of the Toy Story logo. Interesting.

Although no longer appearing on Taylor Swift’s website, the countdown was scheduled to end on May 2nd at 2pm ET.
For Australians, this would translate to 4 a.m. AEST on Saturday, May 3rd.
Does its disappearance mean the reveal is off? We’ll have to wait and see.
