Something is most definitely in the water in Hollywood because, while we’re still getting used to Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber’s engagement, news just broke that Nick Jonas has popped the question to Priyanka Chopra.
After just two months of dating, Nick proposed to Priyanka on her 36th birthday while the two were in London, PEOPLE reports.
“They are so happy,” the source says, before revealing Nick closed down a Tiffany store in New York City to buy an engagement ring.
“His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him. He’s definitely very serious about her,” another insider says of the Jonas brother.
“It’s a huge deal that Nick brought Priyanka to his cousin’s wedding,” a Jonas friend previously told PEOPLE. “He’s dated a lot over the last couple years but it’s never been anything serious, so this is a big step. Nick and Priyanka really like each other, and his family enjoyed getting to know her as well. She fit right in!”
The couple first sparked dating rumours when they attended the 2017 Met Gala together, but it wasn’t until May of this year when they were seen on numerous dates, before jetting to India to meet Priyanka’s family.
Now all we need is a shot of that sure-to-be-massive engagement ring.
