Nicole Kidman is busy making post-quarantine plans, as the actress is set to grace the small screen in yet another television series.
This time, the Big Little Lies alum is coming to Amazon in an adaptation of Janelle Brown’s forthcoming novel, Pretty Things.

Set to land on digital shelves come April 21, the upcoming book follows the tale of “two brilliant, damaged women” named Nina and Vanessa.
Nina has been caring for her con artist mother whilst heiress Vanessa is left reeling from a broken engagement when their paths collide.
According to Variety, the women must battle to survive “the greatest game of deceit and destruction they will ever play” after Nina’s biggest scam to date comes to light.
Announcing the news via Instagram with a copy of the soon-to-be-released book in her grasp, Kidman said: “Looking ahead with excitement and optimism… our new Amazon series, the twisty, turny #PrettyThings from author @JanelleBrownie, @ReedMorano and @BlossomFilms.”
It is not yet certain which character Kidman will play but we do know that the actress will also produce the series alongside The Handmaid’s Tale director Reed Morano.
The 52-year-old star’s latest project is just another string to her already-impressive bow with The Undoing, a HBO series which sees her act alongside Britain’s national treasure Hugh Grant, on hold until later this year due to COVID-19.
Kidman’s latest move is also good news for those who have been looking forward to Nine Perfect Strangers, an adaptation of another Liane Moriarty novel, which is currently in the pipeline.
