While super-blogger Nicole Warne spends countless weeks of the year jet-setting around the world, she’s currently back on home soil and took the chance to walk the pink carpet at Prix de marie claire.
Making a show-stopping appearance in metallic Dion Lee, Warne gushed: “I love to support an Australian designer.”
With 1.8 million people following her stylish steps on Gary Pepper Girl on Instagram, Warne knows a thing or two about the perfect social media snap. Her hot tip for photographing a glamorous event? Lighting.
“It’s all about lighting. Or anything that feels vibrant and colourful, for me anyway. My audience really loves seeing visuals that are very positive and energetic and makes them feel warm and happy,” she revealed.
“Here it’s beautiful, you have chandeliers, you have good lighting, so it’s not going to be a problem.”
On work trips, Warne usually travels with a photographer—which obviously helps.
The digital influencer explained she is enjoying some down-time in Sydney before she embarks on her next leg of travel.
“It’s been really nice to recharge and spend some time here, I love the winter in Australia,” she said.
“Then from the Venice Film Festival onwards to the end of October, I’ll be traveling somewhere.”
The travel-pro also shared the essential items she always packs in her carry-on when flying.
“I always travel with my satin eye mask—it’s a game changer for me,” she said.
Technology is crucial for Warne, who never flies without her laptop, hardrive and a camera.
“And fashion-wise I always wear a faux fur coat on the plane, because it doubles as a blanket.”
