Nine-Year-Old Boy Takes His Own Life After Being Bullied

His body was reportedly found by his younger sister

A nine-year-old boy from West Virginia has taken his own life after suffering unrelenting bullying at school.

Jackson Grubb was reportedly found by his younger sister who had gone into his room to cheer him up.

Relatives of the boy said they knew something was wrong but didn’t understand the full extent of his problems.

“I was spending time with him, trying to get it out of him, but Jack’s the type to hold things in,” grandmother and legal guardian, Betsy Baber told NBC.

“I knew something was wrong, but I couldn’t get to him.

“Just speaking from my heart – I believe that he just couldn’t take nothing no more. He had reached that point.”

His grandfather added that it was the bullying that ultimately led to his grandson’s tragic death.

“They were bullying him and they were picking on him. They were saying things to him. They were touching him and that led my grandson to do the things that he did.”
