Olivia Wilde Announced The Gender Of Her Baby and Slammed Donald Trump In One Tweet

‘This hits me deep in my core’

It’s no secret that Olivia Wilde gives good Twitter, but her latest tweet, while not being about getting the LOLs, might just be her best yet.

Wilde, 32, retweeted Hillary Clinton’s latest campaign ad which features a series of girls looking at themselves in a mirror alongside Trump’s most infamous quotes about women.

“As someone who is about to have a daughter, this hits me deep in my core. #NeverTrump,” she wrote.

Olivia, who is already a mum to two-year-old son Otis, announced back in April that she was expecting baby number two with husband Jason Statham.

Wilde is not shy about sharing her views on politics and feminism and how she plans to raise her children.

“I like to think he’s already a little feminist,” Olivia told Yahoo! Beauty of her son.

“And he is. I want to promote the idea that the definition of feminism is equality, and it’s something that’s not difficult to teach children because they are born with that sensibility. They are only taught to separate people and value them differently once they get older. Luckily, I’m just embracing the perspective he was born with.”

“I hope to raise a child who values people for what’s within them, and yet I hope he experiments with his own identity and who he wants to be. I look forward to helping him feel that type of confidence growing up,” she continued.

“I’m grateful now that my parents let me go through my own process of self-discovery, and I think you can’t restrict kids in that way. They have to make mistakes, play, and then figure it out in the end.”
