Kuro
One of Sydney's newest offerings, Kuro offers Japanese design, driven by precision and executed by artisans, in a layered dining experience. Co-owner Alan Wong has developed the concept of the venue alongside Executive Chef/co-owner Taka Teramoto as the result of numerous research trips to Japan and believes the unique elements and layered offerings will meet the range of needs from locals and destination diners alike.
Each element of Kuro, from architecture and design details through to the food and drink menus, are interconnected with the same articulate approach and Japanese influence. The menu has been crafted to share and unites familiar Japanese flavours with stellar Australian produce, resulting in a contemporary collection of dishes underpinned by innovation and sustainability.

Babylon
Mini cocktails? You don't have to say much else to have us convinced. Sydney's Babylon has just introduced a selection of mini cocktails (or pocket-sized cocktails, as they like to call them) at their rooftop bar for Aperitivo Hour. Some of the choices include a Negroni, Pasha and Yildiz. Not to mention the venue's interior was inspired by the once-thriving metropolis and one of the Seven Wonders of the world, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. So, it really is a sight to behold. What better way to ring in the warm weather...
Maybe Sammy
Sydney's cocktail bar Maybe Sammy was the only Australian bar to be named as one of The World's 50 Best Bars at an award ceremony held in London earlier this year. Only nine months old, the kitschy bar as already collected several prestigious bar awards - and it's easy to see why. Taking inspiration from the roaring 50s, the rebirth of cool and the era where fashion and fun prevailed, the venue is filled with old-timey motifs and has Hollywood glamour at its centre. Each and every delectable drink on this menu will take you through an eye-opening and distinct experience - so go and act like that high roller you know you are.
Isabel Bondi
Bondi's newest kid on the block, Isabel Bondi, is taking their already inventive cocktails to dizzying new heights. The high-class venue has added the introduction of their Cocktail Kaiseki - a 5-course degustation. From strawberry and charcoal Wine paired with baby octopus, quandong and black pepper to an olive oil highball paired with chicken thigh, desert lime ponzu, chicken wing, tare and lemon zest, the degustation needs to be added to your festive season to-do list.
