Posting a bathroom selfie displaying her very visible baby bump to Instagram, she captioned the snap: “When people say to me, "I can’t tell you’re pregnant" & my face is like 😏🙄🤔😂’.” Not stopping there, she added: “I will continue to live unapologetically, to thrive in this body, prove the naysayers wrong & laugh at the ignorance ✌️ #babyhollidayontheway #37weeks #effyourbeautystandards #plussizepregnancy.”
Unfortunately, this is not the first time Tess has had to defend her pregnancy body. Having made the hashtag #effyourbeautystandards her signature, the model has made it very clear over the years that she doesn’t give a damn what anyone thinks about her beautiful bod…especially during her pregnancy.
Only last month, she penned a lengthy post addressing fans (as well as those weighing in on her pregnancy progress).
“While I've done my best to look as put together as possible, that's not real life, & it's not for most women. I'm not the first plus size woman in the public eye to have a baby & share it with the world, & I certainly won't be the last. However I'm part of a small minority that's telling you it's okay to not have a perfect baby bump, or not show at all, to be plus size & have a healthy child, & most importantly to find a care provider that doesn't shame you about your size,” Tess’ emotional caption read. Tess, who is carrying her first child with fiancé Nick, has been sharing her pregnancy journey on social media hoping to inspire women of all sizes to love themselves.
