Last year, news broke that Pretty Little Liars, AKA one of the most stressful shows on the planet, is getting its own spin-off show. And now, the long-awaited first trailer for the new series, titled The Perfectionists, has finally dropped.
Our first look at the full cast came via the premiere, where it was a virtual Pretty Little Liars reunion, with everyone from Janel Parrish to Sasha Pieterse walking the red carpet for the show, which will air in a matter of days.
Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists stars both Sasha Pieterse (AKA Alison DiLaurentis) and Janel Parrish (you know her better as Mona). It’s based on another book series by Pretty Little Liars author Sara Shepard, also called The Perfectionists, with I. Marlene King back on board as screenwriter and executive producer.
The Perfectionists sees Pieterse and Parrish plucked out of Rosewood and placed in a new fictional town, Beacon Heights, where, according to Deadline, “everything seems perfect.” That is, until – plot twist! – someone gets murdered. Watch the trailer below:
Freeform announced that they picked up the series for a 10-episode first season and is set to premiere on March 20, 2019.
