Prince Harry To Snub This Royal Tradition At Meghan’s Marle’s Request

The Duchess of Sussex takes a stand

The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has taken a stand against animal cruelty – putting an end to Prince Harry’s participation in the Royal’s traditional Christmas pheasant shooting. According to The Sun, the pregnant royal is against the killing of “defenseless animals,” and her husband is standing by her.

However, as rumours of royal rift deepen, reports have emerged that Prince William isn’t agreeance with Harry’s snub. “In his mind, William sees this as another concerning example of his younger brother being pulled away from his family by his new wife,” a source told the Sunday Mirror.

Harry has participated in the shoot for more than 20 years, alongside brother William. It comes as Harry and Meghan turned down the option of staying at William and Kate’s Norfolk home Anmer Hall for Christmas and after the couple announced they would be moving to Windsor — more than 30 miles away from William and Kate, both 36, who are in Kensington Palace.
