Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Have Shared Their Sweetest Wedding Cards

These are too much
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot last month at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, in quite possibly the most touching (and star-studded) ceremony in history.

The most talked about part of the wedding since the big day, however, has been the royal wedding presents, with the now Duke and Duchess of Sussex having to return £7 million worth of the gifts they received.

Why? Because they were unsolicited presents from businesses, firms and celebrities, something the Windsors are not allowed to accept to prevent them from being exploited for commercial purposes.

They were, however, allowed to accept cards and letters, taking to their Instagram account to share a photo of their past month of post.

Spoiler alert – there’s boxes and boxes of it.

And it wasn’t just limited to wedding post, with the cards also arriving in bulk to congratulate Prince William and Kate Middleton on the birth of Prince Louis, and to wish Princess Charlotte a happy third birthday.

It’s been a busy royal month.

‘Thank you everyone for the beautiful cards and letters following Princess Charlotte’s third birthday, the birth of Prince Louis and the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex,’ read the caption of Kensington Palace’s photo. ‘We’ve received over 36,000 letters in the past month alone.’

Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for an incredibly eventful past month.
