The festive film, titled Royal Carols: Together at Christmas, was filmed weeks in advance, but it wasn’t until now that we could view the merrymaking.
While we were certainly captivated by the carols, it was Will and Kate that stole the show with a rare, albeit romantic, display of affection that warmed our hearts.
In a video posted to social media by eagle-eyed royalists, you can see a blink-and-you’ll-miss it moment of the couple exchanging flirtatious smiles as Golding covers the classic holiday tune “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”.

Cast your minds back to 2011, when a young Prince William married his school-crush Kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey. At the couple's wedding, Golding performed a rendition of Elton John’s hit “Your Song”, the same place where the recording took place.
Given the context, it makes sense for the nostalgia-filled cheeky glance.
