For Kate Middleton and Prince William, their TV guilty pleasure is UK’s Strictly Come Dancing.
During the 50th anniversary charity gala for Centrepoint, an organisation that helps young adults combat homelessness, Prince William met some of Strictly Come Dancing’s stars, who asked him if he watched the show.
“Catherine is a huge fan and my mother-in-law loves it,” he told Strictly Come Dancing’s head judge Shirley Ballas and host Claudia Winkleman.
“I have watched the show a couple of times,” he also admitted.
Strictly Come Dancing is similar to Dancing with the Stars.
Prince William was also recently asked whether he watches another certain TV show – The Crown – by none other than the show’s new leading lady, Olivia Colman, who plays Queen Elizabeth in the upcoming season three.
“He asked what I was doing at the moment,” Olivia revealed on The Graham Norton Show, adding that he quickly realised and said, “Actually, I know what you’re doing”.
Olivia took her opportunity to ask the Duke of Cambridge if he has seen The Crown but says it “didn’t go very well”.
“I was so excited and asked, ‘Have you watched it?’ His answer was a firm, ‘No.’”
“But he was very charming and very lovely,” she added.
