With the royal wedding just a few months away (May 19, people), you’d think Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would have sorted out their bridal party. But if they have, big brother Prince William is yet to hear of it, telling British radio host Roman Kemp that he hasn’t been asked.
“He hasn’t asked me yet, just to clear that up,” the Duke of Cambridge said, adding, “It could be a sensitive subject.”
Although technically royal weddings are devoid of bridal parties, Prince William chose his younger brother to stand beside him for his 2011 nuptials to Kate Middleton. He’s expressed his excitement about the wedding previously, telling reporters he was “very excited and delighted for them both,” and adding that he hopes Prince Harry’s marriage “will stop him scrounging my food.”
This latest discussion occurred at an event for the Best Man Project, which encourages men to be open with each other about their mental health. It’s spearheaded by the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), a mental health organisation that partners with Prince William, Prince Harry and Kate Middleton’s Heads Together project.
