William, who was six years old at the time, and Harry, who was just four years old, are seen playing on the fire truck with their cousins, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall, as mum Princess Diana looks on.
Just look at those adorable matching duck egg blue coats! *Swoon*
While we’d love to think this photo is for our pure viewing pleasure, William had a very good reason for sharing the snap.
The Duke of Cambridge shared the photo in honour of 999 Day, which is an annual celebration of all the amazing work of UK’s police, fire and medical emergency services.
“As a society, we owe our wellbeing, and indeed our lives, to the men and women in our emergency services who work tirelessly to protect us in some of the most difficult circumstances,” said the Duke of Cambridge shared in his Instagram post.
“It is only fitting that we should recognise the vital role that they play, and pay tribute to the bravery and dedication of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their communities.”
