Congratulations are in order for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, who have announced they’re expecting their first child.
The news was confirmed by the Palace today, who wrote, “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021.”
“The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”
Princess Eugenie, one of the few modern royals on Instagram, followed up with an Instagram post, which showed her and husband Jack clutching a little pair of booties.
“Jack and I are so excited for early 2021…” she captioned the sweet post.
Princess Eugenie, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, married Jack Brooksbank in 2018 at Windsor Castle in front of 800 guests.
The new baby is expected to be 11th in line to the throne.
