Which Headpiece Will Princess Eugenie Wear To Her Royal Wedding?

She has the crown jewels to pick from

We can hardly wait for this year’s second royal wedding to take place, and as we edge closer to the nuptials of Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank, speculation of Eugenie’s headpiece are emerging.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank

Princess Eugenie, the younger daughter of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson the Duchess of York, will marry Jack Brooksbank in St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex staged their star-studded nuptials in May.

Royal etiquette only allows married royals to wear tiaras and it’s possible the 28-year-old will choose to wear the York Tiara as she weds her beau of seven years in front of 800 guests. The York Tiara is the same headpiece Sarah Ferguson wore when she married Prince Andrew in 1986. The London-based jeweller Garrard-designed piece was a gift from the Queen and Prince Phillip to Sarah for her wedding day.

But, with the opportunity to pick a piece from the royal collection of jewels for the occasion InStyle reports that an alternative option for Princess Eugenie would be an ancestral tiara that represents her family on her wedding day, with the Greville Tiara worn by her aunt Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Queen Elizabeth being a possible option.
