Princess Mary Is Picture-Perfect In Radiant Tangerine Suit While Out With Prince Frederik

Taking notes for our summer wardrobe.

If you’re ready to bid adieu to neutrals and say ‘hello’ to a pop of colour, then may we point your attention toward Australia’s own, Princess Mary.

The 50-year-old Princess of Denmark has a habit of sporting the most fashionable of ensembles. Trust us, we’ve already listed them all. But now, she’s pulled another fashion showstopper out of her pocket, delivering us another perfect style moment, while paying homage to an Australian designer.

While attending a Dutch-Danish business conference in the Netherlands earlier this week, the Australian-born royal arrived at The Hague alongside husband, Crown Prince of Denmark, Frederik

The Danish royal family member was seen sporting a coordinating tangerine suit, complete with a sharp blazer and tailored, wide-leg trousers, by Australian designer Scanlan Theodore. In her hands, Mary paired her radiant fashion moment with a beige Chanel tote bag and a beautiful pair of matching beige pointed heels.

As for jewellery, she stacked a gold, coin-like pendant and a thicker chain around her neck and finished the look off with a pair of small gold hoops. Then, she styled her brunette tresses in loose curls, which became a blow-out from the merciless wind, and kept her makeup on the neutral side.

Looking stunning as always, it’s safe to say that Australia approves of our royal expat’s fashion moment.

For Frederik, he attended the event wearing a blue tailored suit—which, we think, is perfectly paired with his blue eyes—along with a navy and red striped tie to contrast. He stands proudly next to his wife as she radiates, proving that these two are the most picture-perfect couple we’ve seen for quite some time.

Following her bold, tangerine-hued entrance, Princess Mary gave a speech about smart hospitals and the future of health care. And after the event, she and her husband attended The Royal Academy of Art at The Hague, where they spoke with students who are studying sustainable textiles, which is a passion for Mary.

Recently, Princess Mary marked her 50th birthday with a commemorative portrait that served as a lesson in royal style. Posing in a pearl embroidered gown with cerulean organza and lace, designed by Copenhagen-based designer Lasse Spagenberg.

The Hobart native finished the look with an impressive set of Danish Royal Collection jewellery: a dazzling ruby and diamond tiara, chandelier earrings and a bespoke brooch—also known as the Queen Ingrid Ruby parure.

While Mary left Australia for Denmark 18 years ago, the mother-of-four will always make her home country proud, one pantsuit at a time.
