In reference to that hide-behind-your-eyes moment when she stepped on a rusty nail, Evelyn's foot is bandaged up while a gun rests in her arm ready to shoot.
The sequel picks up shortly from the last film and one of the first stills released shows Blunt's character carrying her newborn in a sling through the post-apocalyptic world.
Once again, Krasinski is the writer and director behind the horror although he was hesitant at first to produce a sequel.
Explaining why he decided to go through with it in the end, he told Deadline: "We have the world, and you can drop whoever you want into that world and everyone feels connected to it."

"The reason I decided to go back, in the end, was this world is so rich, and it's so much fun to explore," the 40-year-old added. "There are so many different things to see now. Everyone else in the world is experiencing this, so I'm curious to see what that looks like from another perspective."
Filming for the sequel has wrapped and the full trailer will be released on New Year's Day.
A Quiet Place 2 is expected to land in March 2020.
