Rebecca Harding is no stranger to a showstopping red carpet moment, and Sunday night’s Logie Awards were no exception. Harding, who was one of marie claire’s picks for best dressed from the night, wore a white feathered Lillian Khallouf gown styled by Elliot Garnaut. The stunning dress was paired with ALINKA jewellery and silver heels.

And of course, she attended the evening with boyfriend Andy Lee

Speaking to InStyle Australiathe model opened up about what the night really entails and what it takes picking the perfect dress.

“I always like to inject a sense of fun and my own personality into each Logies gown”, Harding says, which is evident in her bold choice from this years event. “I also like to consider something that I wouldn’t have necessarily picked, slightly out of my comfort zone.”

“This is why I love working with a stylist because they help me push the boundaries. This year, for example, my stylist Elliot Garnaut and I looked at old school Hollywood for reference which certainly isn’t something I’d wear day to day.”

Preparation is also key when it comes to a big event, Harding says. “For me, I love getting facials in the lead up to the Logies or any big event. Mai at the Doctor’s Studio made sure that my skin was super hydrated, clear as well as nice and plump, ready for whatever makeup look we decided to go with.”

“There is nothing better than your natural glow shining through. When deciding on a make-up look, I always opt for a more natural look, purely because it’s what I’m most comfortable in and allows you to remain confident on the red carpet.”

There’s also a routine to what goes into the event every year and for Harding its all about fragrance.

“My go-to Logies ritual each year is all about selecting a fragrance that matches the theme of my dress. When I attended the Logies for the first time in 2015, I wore a teal blue One Day Bridal dress, matched with Le Labo Santal 33. In 2017, I wore a pale pink, tulle dress Cappellazzo Couture Dress with the Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Baccarat Rouge 540. With my 2018 bejewelled Paolo Sebastian gown, I paired it with Byredo’s Gypsy Water fragrance. My fragrance will be Officine Universelle Buly’s, Triple Berkane Orange Blossom.”
