Reese Witherspoon Shared An Iconic ‘Legally Blonde 2’ Throwback For 4th July And It Feels Like 2003

We’re seeing red, white and blonde.

Reese Witherspoon loves nothing more than throwing it back to some of her most iconic movie moments. While we have our fair share of favourites, top of the list has to be anything Legally Blonde

The United States is having their annual 4th July celebrations right now, and we think Reese might have just shared the best themed post of all time. The actress shared a fan favourite moment from Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, and fans all around the world are loving it.

The iconic scene is none other than the moment Elle Woods appears, decked out in a red, white, and blue ensemble. Of course, she finishes the look off with a matching neck scarf of the American flag and blue tinted sunglasses, because why not?

Her co-star Jennifer Coolidge, as Paulette Bonafonté, exclaims, “Oh my God! You look like the Fourth of July. Makes me want a hot dog real bad.”

Witherspoon captioned the post, “Bringing back this classic. Happy 4th of July folks! Important question… hotdogs or hamburgers?”

She’s right, it is a very important question. The correct answer is hotdogs though, obviously.

“Omggg I read this with her voice..!!😂😂 she is amazing!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣” one user commented.

Legally Blonde quotes are always my favorites!!💗” said another.

“The amount of times my family says this…is insane” wrote a third.

While we love nothing more than reminiscing on old Legally Blonde moments, we’re still holding out for the highly-anticipated release of the third movie. Almost 20 years after the release of Legally Blonde 2, the next installation is slated to hit our screens in May 2022.

The movie will follow Elle Woods as she navigates life in her 40s, and we can’t wait to see what she’s up to. Plus, Witherspoon herself confirmed that the inimitable Jennifer Coolidge will be returning to reprise her character – and honestly, what more could we ask for?
