The 43-year-old graced the headlines after showcasing brown locks for her starring role in Amazon television series The Morning Show but it turns out, the chestnut shade is actually quite close to her natural hue.
Earlier this week, Witherspoon took to Instagram to share a throwback photograph of herself taken in the early nineties.
In the adorable image, the actress is seen smiling at the camera with her face resting in her hand.
But it turns out, we weren’t the only ones surprised to discover that the actress is not a natural blonde.
“Wait… is this my real hair colour?” Witherspoon captioned the post.
