What can we expect from your upcoming show?
We are celebrating the launch of our first book and also a very exciting new collaboration with an Australian designer who we love dearly. The night will be an intimate salon style showcase of 15 modern day goddesses.
What trends do you predict will be big this season?
We’re not really a brand that follows mainstreem ‘trends’, however this Resort season we have been talking a lot about off the body shapes; we are vibing billowing maxis and exaggerated proportions.
Who would you love to dress?
Cate Blanchett, Del Kathryn Barton, Dame Edna, Bjork, Giovanna Battaglia (in no particular order)
Can you describe the Romance Was Born woman?
She’s warm, spirited and sensual, she loves to dress up and have fun.
What’s the best piece of fashion advice you’ve been given?
A good show can transform any outfit, no but seriously, I think it’s your attitude, the clothes should never wear you, if you know what we mean.
What’s your career highlight?
Our first ever collaboration with artist Del Kathryn Barton when we first started was pretty exciting for us… we admired her so much and that process really was the start to how we think about our brand and how we work.
