Speaking with Seven’s Sunday Night, a preview of the interview with Melissa Doyle shows the PR queen talking about how she acted out after Curtis went to prison, and admitted she blamed him for giving her cancer.
Jacenko was diagnosed with breast cancer just weeks after her husband began serving time.
The couple both broke down during the emotional interview where they discusssed their turbulent marriage, and Doyle asks the pair if they have “forgiven each other”.
“I started living a life as soon as Oli went to jail that was fast,” she admitted. “And indulged in things I shouldn’t have indulged in.”
The owner of Sweaty Betty PR made headlines when she was photographed kissing her ex-boyfriend Nabil Gazal on a balcony in Sydney while her husband was serving out his sentence.
“I’m not proud of some of the things I did. I was in a situation where it was tough,” Jacenko said.
“I was running three businesses, my husband was in jail, I had cancer, [I was raising] two kids. It was tough.
“But I still look at my life every day and go, ‘Wow, what amazing opportunities I’ve got.”’
