This week, Roxy Jacenko said her two children, Hunger aPixie and Hunter, would face a bleak Christmas if her husband Oliver Curtis’s insider trading conviction and one year jail sentence was not overturned.
Today, the 31-year-old learned he would be spending Christmas, and well into next year, behind bars.
Curtis was sentenced in June for his part in a scheme that netted him and his c-oaccused almost $1.5 million.
This week, Jacenko told WHO magazine that she had to stop her mother buying a Christmas tree this year as it would remind her two children – Pixie, 5, and Hunter, 2 – that daddy wasn’t there.
“My mum said to me the other day ‘I think I’m going to get a Christmas tree’,” she told the magazine.
“I said, ‘You can’t, because I told Pixie and Hunter their father would be home by Christmas. I was so far away then ... Now here we are.”
In August, she told 60 Minutes: “Pixie's very upset,” Roxy revealed in an interview with 60 Minutes. “Every day's hard with her now and she cries for her dad.”.
Yet there was no sign of the outgoing blonde at the courthouse today as her husband’s fate was decided. Instead she posted one of her trademark elevator selfies wearing Louis Vuitton.
