What Happened To The Royal Wedding Flowers Is Beautiful

The flowers outside St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle for the royal wedding were breathtakingly beautiful – masses of white roses, peonies, foxgloves and greenery surrounding the entrances and stairs.

Created by London florist Philippa Craddock, the display served as the backdrop for photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first kiss. But after the bride, groom and guests had moved on from the chapel to their reception venue, Craddock and her team packed the flowers up and moved them on to an even more special location.

At the request of Prince Harry and Meghan, the wedding flowers were donated to St Jospeh’s Hospice in Hackney, with each patient given a bouquet, Harper’s Bazaar UK reports.

“The flowers are simply stunning and our patients were both surprised and delighted to receive them,” St Joseph’s CEO Nigel Harding said. “A huge thank you to Philippa Craddock and her team – and of course to the royal bride and groom.”
