As well as balloons and streamers for the celebration, eagle-eyed fans also pointed out that the star was holding a photo of the couple kissing at his 35th birthday party – as well as other photos from their relationship scattered around the room. Seriously.
Blake's BFF Taylor Swift commented on the post and basically summed us all up, "Thanks guys now I'm drowning in tears of joy," she wrote. Yep us too.
But Ryan recently responded with his own cute Insta post that he took with Blake!
He captioned the image, "Best. Birthday. Everrrrr. Courtesy of my wife, buddy, and international spy, @blakelively. With huge thanks to my favorite restaurant in NYC, @_o_ya_ -- and a special shout out to our children for not ruining everything like they planned."
Could this have been the location for their infamous awkward double date - where they fell in love despite being there with other people?
"We went on a double date. She was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another girl — and that was, like, the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across," he told SiriusXM in February. "I think the best way to have a relationship is to start as friends."
Not there for the celebration however were the couple’s two children, 22-month-old daughter James, and three-week-old baby number two – who we are yet to know by name or gender as yet – although Ryan did drop a major hint that it’s a girl just the other day…
