Ryan Reynolds is at the centre of a new project with Twentieth Century Fox called Stoned Alone. Yep it’s like a grown-up, stoner version of the classic 1990 film Home Alone.
The film is set to be directed by Augustine Frizzell who directed Never Goin’ Back and Euphoria, and the Deadpool actor is so far pegged to produce it through his production company Maximum Effort – and is also expected to star, reports Variety.
According to Deadline the film centres around “a twenty-something weed growing loser who misses the plane for his holiday ski trip. He makes the best of things by getting high. Paranoia sets in and he believes he hears someone break into his house. Turns out thieves have broken in. Fully stoned and fueled by paranoia, he tries to thwart the thieves and defend his castle.”
