Blake Lively is getting to the business end of her pregnancy, just days ago she celebrated with a star-studded baby shower and now hubby Ryan Reynolds have given us an update on where she’s at.
At an event for the One Tree Initiative which aims to protect and restore American forests, Ryan discussed his love for the great outdoors which is why he became involved in the project.
"I live in the woods. It's great. I'm able to get out there quite a bit—almost every day that I'm home. And when I go home to Vancouver, I spend a ton of time in the outdoors, 'cause it's just these mountains, the ocean, the streams, the lakes and everything you'd ever want," Ryan told E! News. "It plays a huge part in my daily routine. Hiking is like a part of my workout. I love it."
In true Ryan Reynolds form, when asked about whether his wife would be joining him on any hikes he fired back an hilarious response.
"My wife is just extraordinarily pregnant right now, so there's not a lot of hiking in her immediate future—nor do I think it's going to happen the second she gives birth, either," he joked.
"I'm told there's some recuperation that's needed."
The 39-year-old also hinted that August (Summer in the Northern Hemisphere) is "the worst month on earth to be pregnant."
But Ryan did get real about how much he loves being a dad.
"There's nothing on earth more grounding than having a baby," he added.
"It's the best thing that could ever happen to someone.
