In celebration of the phenomenal #YSL41 campaign, captured by the formidable Gray Sorrenti, (the photography protégé making waves in the industry and daughter of lauded lensman Mario Sorrenti), Saint Laurent is displaying the denim offering at Sydney’s Bondi Junction and Melbourne’s Collins Street.
Creative director Anthony Vaccarello also assumed the role of Art Director, collaborating with the perennially stylish Hailey Bieber, Anok Yai and up-and-comer Romeo Beckham for the series of black-and-white images, showcasing the new styles that have us dreaming of summer.
The entire store is taken over by denim, featuring a wide selection of products from the latest women’s and men’s denim collection, including ready-to-wear along with leather goods, shoes, sunglasses and jewellery.
The exclusive denim capsule includes an innovative ‘Pantaboot’ (yes, this is exactly what you think it is), 90’s high waisted jeans, destroyed 70’s jackets and raw edge shorts. Our credit cards are willing.
For Sydneysiders, the takeover is currently active in Bondi until October 31 before it travels to Melbourne on November 11-21, just in time for Christmas.
Given the copious amount of online orders that we amounted during lockdown, an in-store visit to a boutique is a welcome invitation to our daily routine, and we can’t wait to walk out with a swanky piece of Saint Laurent denim.
We’re taking cues from the monochromatic campaign and channeling our inner Saint Laurent muse, pairing our denim with monogram panties à la Mrs. Bieber or under a tweed single-breast blazer similar to Megan Miles.
