While her Sex And The City alter ego Carrie Bradshaw preferred to sip on cosmos, Sarah Jessica Parker's latest venture is paying homage to her love of wine. The multihyphenate, who already has successful shoe and fragrance empires under her belt has teamed up with New Zealand-based Invino wines.
“I am a true wine lover and I love including wine in family dinners and occasions with friends so this is a very exciting and fun project for me. I'm so looking forward to every single stage of the creation,” explains SJP, who also invested in the company hinting she's in the wine business for the long-haul.
The star continues: “I intend to be very hands-on throughout the process, as I am with all my endeavours, and could not be partnering with a better brand than Invivo.”
What's more? We're hoping that a trip down under might be on the cards for the modern-day fashion icon - considering she will be traveling to New Zealand later this year - to crush grapes alongside the brand's co-founders Tim Lightbourne and Rob Cameron.
"I’m so looking forward to seeing where the grapes grow and the wine is made. The boys even brought me a pair of 'gumboots' – which they assure me are the height of Kiwi vineyard fashion. Regardless, happy to have and perhaps even wear them."
Parker's collaboration with Invivo will launch in Summer 2019 with a focus on Sauvignon blanc and rosé wine.
