The undeniable highlight from the weekend’s Trooping the Colour? Seeing Savannah Phillips having the time of her life on the balcony of Buckingham Palace – pulling Prince George into line and conducting the crowds and all.
But just who is the miniature royal who captured everyone’s attention on the balcony? Read on.
1/ She’s the Queen’s eldest great-grandchild
At seven years old, Savannah was around long before Prince George. She’s the daughter of Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn Kelly, a Canadian woman who renounced her Catholic faith in order to marry, Harper’s Bazaar reports.
2/ She’s 15th in line to the throne
And she’s the first Canadian citizen to be in such a privileged position. Savannah holds dual citizenship to both Canada and the United Kingdom, thanks to her mother.
3/ She has one sister
Six-year-old Isla, who is 16th in line to the throne. Interestingly, despite being in the line to the throne, neither Savannah or her sister (or their parents, for that matter) have royal titles, Town and Country Mag reports.
