UPDATE: This morning, it was confirmed that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have ended their relationship after 10 months together.
ORIGINAL: Last week, Justin Bieber was spotted arriving at his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez’s LA home.
At the time, it was reported that Selena’s boyfriend of almost a year, The Weeknd (nee Abel Tesfaye), was fine with the two spending time together as friends, but as more images surface of Gomez and Bieber today – at a cafe before attending church and then again at Bieber’s house, fans started speculating that perhaps her relationship with the Starboy singer was over.
Though TMZ reports that The Weeknd is only not joining in on the ‘Jelena’ friendship dates because he’s away on tour, fans have noticed the 27-year-old has just unfollowed some of Gomez’s closest friends on Instagram, including her mother, her assistant, and her best friend/kidney transplant donor Francia Raisa.
He also unfollowed Priscilla DeLeon and Jay Cosme – parents of Selena’s godson.
Abel allegedly did the same thing when he broke up with Bella Hadid, unfollowing those close to her before eventually unfollowing her a few weeks later.
Selena and Abel still follow each other on the platform for now – and we’re hoping it stays that way because these two are serious #couplegoals.
