With almost every reality show there ever was, we hear contestants bemoaning the way they were edited, usually because it’s in a less than favourable light. However, if new reports are to be believed, The Bachelor contestant Shannon is the subject of some major editing – but to make her appear more likeable.
According to fellow contestant, Romy Poulier – who it must be noted has made no secret that there was no love lost between her and Shannon in the house – says she has been edited to appear “sweet and innocent”.

“She does a very good job at portraying herself as a sweet, innocent girl who wants to spread love,” Romy tells NW.
Romy, who has herself been accused of being an actress and on the show for fame, goes on to recount an apparently deleted scene which saw Shannon accuse Bachelor Nick Cummins of doing the show for the money.
“She goes to Nick, ‘You’re just doing it for the big bucks, aren’t ya? They pay you – you’re just doing it for the big bucks,'” added Romy. “They did a really good edit on her and I get annoyed because she was throwing burgers at us and swearing at us!”

And it’s kind of a valid question if you ask us – and while we don’t know the exact amount he’s making, Matty J reportedly earned $200,000 for his Bachelor stint and considering the Honey Badger was an established star before taking on the role, safe to say he’s earning even more.
But we’re sure he’s in it for the love too…
