Thankfully, cult-favourite brand Shark has just launched a new device that promises to bring the facial experience home, with a five-step treatment you can complete in just 10 minutes. And if you haven’t heard of it yet, allow us to introduce you.
Think of the Shark FacialPro Glow as your five-step at-home facial, designed to cleanse, exfoliate, extract, hydrate and depuff your skin in just 10 minutes.
The treatment begins with cleansing and exfoliation, using the included BHA + AHA Exfoliating Gel alongside the exfoliation attachment to help remove dead skin cells and extract impurities.
Next, the hydrate and glow steps use the Hydro Infuse BHA Hydrator to replenish the skin, before the DePuffi attachment helps depuff your complexion for a fresher-looking finish.
It might sound like a lot of steps for one little device, but early reviews suggest the Shark FacialPro Glow is relatively easy to use and delivers that satisfying, just-left-the-facialist feeling from the comfort of home.
Designed to be used once a week, the treatment is quick, convenient and requires no downtime. As with any facial, you can expect a fresh-faced glow, although some temporary redness may occur. The good news? Shark says you can generally get back to your usual routine, including wearing makeup, after around 30 minutes.
According to Shark, the FacialPro Glow is suitable for most skin types. However, if you’re pregnant or have an existing skin condition, it’s best to consult a medical professional before use.
