Luckily, Instagram shopping platform, LikeToKnowIt, has revealed the one item everyone is wearing right now, releasing data on the top-bought piece from January — and we doubt you’ll be surprised.
As per Glamour, the platform has seen a 66 per cent increase in searches for spaghetti strap slip dresses this month, right in time for Valentine’s Day.
The 90s-esque style has been a staple for the street style set for the past few seasons, with It girls reaching for their slip dresses no matter the season, styling with a jumper underneath or with sneakers to make it work in winter. Perfect with a pair of on-trend strappy sandals, a silky satin slip dress is the ideal date night outfit, and works from day to night thanks to its versatile nature.
Whether you opt for a flowing midi version or something a little saucier in a mini, the slip cut is definitely having a comeback — and we’re fans. Below, we’ve rounded up six of our favourites, so you too can be prepared for Valentine’s Day (and beyond!).
