Despite Sofia Richie and Scott Disick having been romantically linked since early 2017, an engagement isn’t likely, Us Weekly reports. While a source told the outlet that the 20-year-old model and 35-year-old reality star are “extremely serious” after roughly two years of dating, that same source cautioned that a baby would come before any engagement ring. “It’s more likely that she gets pregnant before they get engaged,” the source said.
A second source added that the two don’t have immediate plans to start a family together, with their focus being on Scott’s family with his ex, Kourtney Kardashian. Kardashian and Scott share three young children: Mason, 9, Penelope, 6, and Reign, 4. “Sofia spends time with Scott’s kids and she even has a relationship with his ex, Kourtney Kardashian,” a source told the outlet.
People reported back in December that Richie understands that she and Kardashian aren’t destined to be ‘best friends’, although she’s glad the two have some kind of relationship. “She knows that Kourtney isn’t her biggest fan and she understands that,” a source told the outlet then. “Sofia and Kourtney will never be best friends, but Sofia is happy that she has proved to Kourtney that she is great with her kids.”

If Scott were to ask Richie to marry him, Kourtney ‘would be happy for them. Appearing on Watch What Happens Live last week with her sisters, Kardashian told Andy Cohen that she would just say “Congratulations” to them if they got engaged. Her sisters Kim and Khloe additionally pointed out that they’ve all vacationed together so Richie is essentially part of the family. “No drama there”, Kim said.
In December, Kourtney, Scott and Sofia went on a tropical vacay to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Kourtney and Scott’s three children also went along.
Scott posted an image of three to Instagram, captioning: “What more can a guy ask for. THREE’S COMPANY.”

A week later, the trio was spotted stepping out in Aspen, Colorado.
