For anyone who follows Sophie Monk on Instagram, you might have noticed the real star of the account isn’t the former Bachelorette — it’s actually her dad, Andrew Monk.
From hilarious trolling videos to his best red carpet fashion statements (he recently debuted a Mr Monk T-shirt at the Arias), Andrew has become our second favourite member of the Monk clan. Now, he’s in line to take over from his daughter with what might be his best parody yet.
Taking to Sophie’s Instagram, Andrew chose to emulate one of the most famous faces in the world: Kourtney Kardashian. Kardashian, who revealed she would be starting a lifestyle brand, Poosh, earlier this week, announced the news via a photo of the reality star sitting naked on a bathroom counter wearing only a head wrap towel and carrying a cup of tea and a laptop. Naturally, Andrew Monk was on it.
Posting the below video to her own Instagram, Sophie proved comedy really does run in the family, with her father doing his best Kourtney Kardashian impression — complete with a run-of-the-mill kettle, the perfect final touch.
Do we have a male Celeste Barber on our hands? It seems Mr Monk is certainly heading that way — and we’re completely on board.
