Sophie Tieman was left heartbroken on the finale of The Bachelor, which aired last week, when Nick Cummins told her that he didn’t feel strongly enough about her.
While at the time, Sophie didn’t realise that Cummins was actually letting both her AND Brittany Hockley go, but she does say there was an exact moment that she knew it wasn’t going to be her.
“I think it was as I was walking up to him, he wasn’t really looking at me, in my eyes,” the 25-year-old property valuer said during an appearance on ‘Have You Been Paying Attention’.

“And yeah I was like, oh, I really would just love to turn around right now but I can’t.”
Appearing alongside Brittany, Sophie says there was no pressure on him to propose or even to say ‘I love you’, it’s just about finding a connection and seeing where something can go.
“It’s whether he can find someone that you can connect with and you know… try it in the real world later,” she said.
“I would hope he’s a little embarrassed, we just went through so many highs and so many lows,’ she added.
“And I’m sure he did too – but I just hope there’s something in him that’s a little unhappy or uneasy with his decision because God knows we have been through it.”
